Chicago rookie Cisco Carlos pitched a no-hitter tonight against the Cleveland Indians. Carlos walked 3 and struck out 7 in the White Sox 6-0 victory. He got his 3rd Win of the season in his 5th start of the year. Cleveland pitcher Steve Hargan, whose 2.06 ERA leads the AL, commented: 'I hate to admit this but I'd pay to watch a man pitch like that'.

Cisco Carlos(3-2) thrilled the fans at Comiskey Park as he crafted a no-hit
masterpiece against the Cleveland Indians. The Chicago White Sox won by a
final score of 6 to 0.
The partisan crowd cheered every Cleveland out from the 7th inning on. He
walked 3 Cleveland batters. The tension built to a fever pitch. After the
8th inning everybody in the ballpark was anticipating what would happen in
the 9th. Chicago had a total of 11 hits for the game.
Steve Hargan(13-10) was the loser. 'Carlos was simply incredible' losing
pitcher Hargan said. 'I hate to admit this but I'd pay to watch a man pitch
like that'
